Counselling
Life can be complex. Whether we're facing health challenges, career pressures, relationship changes, or periods of uncertainty, it can help to have a space where we can slow down and make sense of things.
Counselling provides that space — a confidential, supportive environment where you can explore what matters most, understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop strategies for living with greater clarity and self-compassion.
Counselling is not about giving advice or quick fixes. It’s about understanding your experience more deeply, developing insight into the issues at hand, and creating space for personal growth and renewal.

Specialist Focus
Alongside general counselling, I specialise in supporting people who are managing chronic health conditions while navigating their professional lives.
Chronic illness can transform how we see ourselves and how we are seen by others. It can influence our confidence, our energy, and our sense of belonging at work.
Many people describe the ongoing negotiation between maintaining performance, preserving health, and managing perceptions as one of the most challenging aspects of their working lives.
Counselling offers an opportunity to explore these experiences with someone who understands both the psychological and systemic dimensions of living with illness.
Areas of focus may include:
-
Navigating identity and self-worth following diagnosis or ongoing health challenges
-
Coping with fatigue, uncertainty, and change
-
Building communication strategies around disclosure and workplace boundaries
-
Managing the emotional toll of stigma or misunderstanding
-
Reconnecting with meaning and purpose within new limits
My approach
My counselling practice brings together empathy, evidence, and lived experience. It is grounded in contemporary counselling theory and informed by a belief that each person carries the capacity for self-awareness and change.
Together, we explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you. Some sessions may focus on practical strategies and decision-making, while others may invite deeper reflection on the patterns and beliefs shaping your wellbeing.
The intention is always the same — to help you feel more grounded, connected, and able to live in alignment with your values, even when circumstances are complex.
